Piers Morgan exonerate Real Madrid of Cristiano Ronaldo’s fake statements
Cristiano Ronaldo’s explosive interview with The Sun continues to stir up controversy around the world since yesterday, as no one in Manchester United was left but attacked.
The Portuguese striker did not remain silent in his conversation with journalist Piers Morgan, who wanted to deny some false statements attributed to the footballer, which were circulated on social networks.
And an account called Real Madrid Zone posted on Twitter some of the alleged words by Cristiano talking about his departure from Real Madrid, describing his departure from the Bernabeu as “the biggest regret” in his entire career.
And the statements published by the aforementioned account say: “Leaving Real Madrid? Biggest regret of my career. I was respected there, they loved me there. If I had the chance to go back in time, I would have played there for free. I shouldn’t have left the biggest club in the world. They treated me like a king.”
However, Piers Morgan was quick to deny these words and denounced how widespread they were even though they were false. The journalist wrote on Twitter: “46,000 likes for a fake quote. Ronaldo did not say that. I hope Elon Musk sorts out this kind of crap too”.
